Brentwood Massive
i was in Brentwood (Queen Vic) for the game today. I was with some people close to AC They told me he s on his way out of the club. Not to Newcastle because certain people there don't want him back in the city. He's going to the Midlands apparently. My money's on Stoke.

Re: Brentwood Massive
According to his mates, who I spoke to today, he's on £90k a week and Sullivan wants him out. Mark Hughes is very interested and can offer the same weekly wage. AC's happy to go (and our board's happy to offload). If you smell horse shit, get your head out of its arse.

Re: Brentwood Massive
SAMs, make your mind up, your first post said that he was heading for the midlands and your money was on Stoke. Now you're saying that you know Hughes is willing to match his wages and is interested. What's changed in ten minutes.

Re: Brentwood Massive
Stoke can't afford to pay anyone 90k a week.

Re: Brentwood Massive
So it is. Fucking loads of pubs in Brentwood - due to it having been a garrison town. Was there a few weeks back and all the backstreet pubs were busy in a Saturday eve. Good to see. I get the impression that the towie thing has made locals drink away from the high street

Re: Brentwood Massive
Nothing changed. I was just being coy. Stoke are making a bid and the deal will be made official in January. Believe it or not. I really don't give a shit.

Re: Brentwood Massive
the towie thing has been a pox on brentwood. whent the gardeners becomes a destination you know something's wrong. locals tend to go to the eagle, the tap and the vic these days rather then the places on the high street,

Re: Brentwood Massive
only this week, andy Carroll was apaprently saying he wanted to make a comeback and show WHU what he can really do...... i think it was Noble or Nolan that said it?

so im gonna make a call on this little nutmeg of a story. sniffs the air.....horseshit

Re: Brentwood Massive
A little bit naive there, McCrowman. Have you checked Bet365's latest accounts? Stoke most definitely can afford £90k a week and, according to people I spoke to today, AC's going to be paid that by them. They're clearly backing Hughes to bring them a bit of success.

Re: Brentwood Massive
HairySpotter - his mates talked about that, today. Apparently, the club's media manager leaked the story to the papers. Noble and Nolan didn't speak to anyone and the quotes were made up. It's all about keeping us onside. Sullivan's flogging him in January to Stoke is what I was told today. Believe it or not, I'm only relaying what I've been told by some close mates of AC.

Re: Brentwood Massive
I would say if we can get 10 million for him then let him go.

With that transfer fee and the 90k a week we will save we can bring in some more exciting young, quick players.

In fact they can have Carroll and Nolan, 12 million for the pair.

'Have you checked Bet365's latest accounts?'

Is their sponsorship deal based on their accounts then?

Re: Brentwood Massive
samson - i hope it is true and we reinvest into similar players to Sahko and Valencia...... LOLton can take the big man role.
